With tasty riffs compared to that of Black Sabbath, Santana, Steve Vie, Dream Theater, Slipnot and Styx, 6 String Pimp is a fresh, edgy, mostly instrumental group. As the leader of the band, Wes Flores draws his writing inspiration through the spiritual realm. At a very young age, he was diagnosed by Dr. Fleiss (the father of the infamous Heidi Fleiss) with a tumor embedded in the bone of his right arm. Since his only choice was to remove it (thereby causing a dwarfism in the arm), the family sought the spirit of Hawaiian friends and relatives who prayed over him. The experience of the dark spirit and soulful rhythms remain throughout his music. Over the years, 6 String Pimp has written over 1,000 songs in various genres with an emphasis on alternative metal.

6 String Pimp’s full length album is expected to release Summer 2015. Recording is scheduled to take place at Clear Lake Recording Studios located in North Hollywood, CA.
